Lukaku is out of our league....but we really should be going for a fair few of their up and coming stars who are being overlooked every time the Russian waves his cheque book. The likes of Nathan Ake, Tammy Abrahams, Izzy Brown, Loftus Cheek , Solanke etc all would be more in our price bracket and would all be hungry to make their mark.

why would he leave Everton to join West Ham ? its got nothing to do with the manager board or fans ,its just a fact he will end up at a top Champions league club ,thats just the way it is ,until we are or if we ever are competing at this level nothing will change , I really don't see how people don't get this .

I'll bet that he has an under the counter deal agreed to go to Chelsea or a top club elsewhere.
I read that Everton wanted an £90m buy-out clause in his new contract. His new club don't want to pay that so have asked him (or rather his agent) to reject it otherwise the deal would be off.
Let's face it. He will be moving so his increased contract would only be from now until July - 4 months - before he moves. Everton will have to take nearer to £60m I suspect.

He may well be a available but not to the likes of us! Not least as he has stated a desire for champions league football, then the fee involved, for all their talk the Dave's will not be spunking anywhere near or above the current World record which is what Everton will want or other bigger clubs than us can afford or be prepared to pay.
Back to Chelsea is the rumour, but either Manchester club or someone like PSG would be my guess.

I have it on good authority (don't ask) that Bilic wants to blow all his beans on this one signing as a top priority and Sullivan has agreed to sanction it!
The only concern is whether he can cut it at RB, so it may be a loan first.
